National Day 95
Sadu patterns weave the Kingdom’s story — Diriyah, the Kingdom Centre, a camel in the dunes — into DZRT’s 95th National Day film.
01 The film
The film is built from Sadu: diamonds open onto Diriyah, frame the Kingdom Centre, and weave themselves into a pixel-built logo. A camel crosses the dunes, the pattern grows pink, a tree rises with each step, and three panels close the film. Every line is subtitled in English.
02 The craft
- The film moves in beats: each one starts from a rest and settles before the next line lands.
- The National Day mark builds itself out of pixels before it resolves.
- The Sadu pattern never settles — it keeps turning right up to the cut.
