Expo 2030 Riyadh — Logo reveal — pitch film
From Sadu threads and Najdi doors to a mark drawn by hand — a pitch film that reveals an identity for Expo 2030 Riyadh, wide enough for tomorrow.

Senior Motion Designer
& Video Editor
Motion graphics, 2D animation, logo animation and the edit — for Saudi and Egyptian brands, from concept and storyboard to the final cut, with AI filmmaking in the mix. Based in Cairo.
I’m Mahmoud Fekry, a senior motion designer and video editor in Cairo. For more than seven years I’ve made films for Saudi and Egyptian brands — motion graphics, 2D animation, logo animation and the edit — taking each one from concept and storyboard to the final cut, and bringing AI filmmaking in to build the shots and worlds that push a film further.

The Bold Group — Saudi Founding Day
A drawn journey across the Kingdom at golden hour — from the mud walls of At-Turaif to the tombs of AlUla — for The Bold Group’s Founding Day film.
Manafa — Brand film
Every success has a great story behind it — and Manafa’s has no single hero. A fast-cut kinetic-type film in which the investors are the story.
ALAT — Saudi National Day 96 — Sinaat Watan
A girl draws her father at work, and the drawing follows him through hospitals, farms, towers and power lines — ALAT’s National Day 96 film about a nation built by the people who make it.
Almarai — Almarai Academy — recruitment
Paper-boat balloons, Lego leadership and a green hill for Vision 2030 — a 79-second invitation to Almarai Academy’s Graduate Program.
Al Khafeef — Brand relaunch
A wood-fired oven, a delivery bag and a city that eats on the move — an AI-made relaunch film for Al Khafeef, cut to its own AI-made song.

Read it with the creative director. Find the one feeling the film has to leave behind — then the line that says it.
Quick sketches the size of a stamp. Most are wrong; the right one decides the whole film.
The keys of the story, drawn clearly enough that the client can see the film in them.
Boards on a timeline with a scratch track. Timing is decided here, not in the render.
Characters, backgrounds and type, roughed in first — weight, arcs and squash while changes are still cheap.
One confident line per drawing. The wobble stays only where it is charming.
Flat colour and honest shapes, in the brand’s palette — or AI anchor frames when the film calls for a world.
Premiere: story structure, pacing, sound design, music sync and colour. Motion graphics on top.
Masters and cut-downs for social, digital and TV, named so nobody has to ask.
